Your donation keeps a hardworking horse warm and fed. Donations go towards hay, grain, veterinary bills, farrier services, and equipment necessary for the welfare of the horses. 

Examples of what donation amounts provide for each therapy horse:

$25 - One month treat supply

$50 - One month fly spray and grooming supplies

$75 - One month of medications and supplements

$125 One week of hay and basic care

$150 - Six weeks of farrier care

$200 - One season of preventative healthcare

$500 - One month of hay and basic care

$1000 - Emergency fund for veterinary care

$3000 - Six months hay and basic care

Donate or Lease a horse

Therapy work is an opportunity for horses to bring joy and healing to those in need. Regardless of their previous career, a therapy horse must above all be sensitive and careful with the humans around them. A horse with a calm and kind demeanor will shine in therapeutic work. 

Horses will be subject to a suitability assessment and a two month trial period. Due to the necessity of keeping overhead low, horses that require costly ongoing medical treatment or expensive diets may not be suitable for the program.
